After washing your face and patting it dry, simply rub a lemon rind over your skin. The natural acids of lemon gently remove dead skin cells and lighten age spots, clear facial discolorations, and may even get rid of scars caused by blemishes.

Yogurt will cleanse and nourish the skin while egg whites will shrink your pores.


For a face mask rich in antioxidants, one containing tomatoes is an excellent option! Tomatoes are abundant in the antioxidant lycopene, which is believed to keep wrinkles away, even out skin tone, and combat free radicals that cause signs of premature aging. A tomato face mask requires one small tomato and a half teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix these ingredients into a paste and leave on your face for 10 minutes. Remove with cool water and pat dry, revealing radiant skin.


This miracle fruit isn’t just delicious, it’s also a great natural skin moisturizer. The vitamin A present in bananas restores lost moisture and repairs damaged, dull, and dry skin. For a face mask that instantly treats dry and dull skin, mash a ripe banana and apply it on your face. Leave this mixture on your face for 20-25 minutes and then wash it away with lukewarm water. You will instantly have soft and supple skin.

Apple cider vinegar has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, making it a great ingredient to combat acne. An apple cider vinegar face mask aids in killing acne-causing bacteria, clears black heads, and calms inflammation. Apple cider vinegar is also believed to remove any excess oil on your skin. For this face mask all you need is apple cider vinegar and water. Dilute 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water. Dab all over your face and leave on for 20 minutes.

You can use this mask as much as two times a day. Your skin tone will be even and acidity balanced.

Cinnamon and Honey Mask

For a gentler face mask that also fights acne, cinnamon and honey offer another beautifying option.Cinnamon has antimicrobial properties and honey is a natural anti-biotic, and when they’re combined, they smell delicious! Simply mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Apply to your face for 10-15 minutes and then wash the mixture off with warm water. This just might the sweetest way to get soft skin!
